Just started playing through DKC2 after finishing the first one and I'm having quite a bit of trouble as there seems to be a lot more text in this one than the first (Japanese versions obviously - I can read English 
).
Most important thing is, how do I save? Every time I try to do it a different way, it involves going through a few levels to get to Cranky or wherever so it's a bit of a pain..
The other not so important thing is, are any of the things for sale in the shops (I assume they're shops) necessary to progress and/or get 102% for the game?
Any other important stuff I'm missing by not playing it in English (apart from the story
) is also most welcome.
