    PS3 to monitor solutions?

My monitor has just DVI and VGA inputs, and I was wondering if I can somehow connect the PS3 I purchased a month or so back to it? I already have a HDMI to DVI lead, but was wondering how I would solve the audio issue? Any help or advice would be really appreciated as I hate playing games downstairs.

Tell the ps3 to output audio using optical (I do this) or it may be able to output to the standard connector you got in the box if your amp has no optical in.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not using an amp though, and since I bought the PS from here, I think the only other leads I have are the composite output lead with adapter, is there any way to make that work? I basically need to be able to output to phono since I have the converter leads, or a smaller headphone jack, I have the male to female adapter. I will need an amp soon though, as I need to rip vinyls I have, unless I can get a soundcard with a preamp. Sorry to go OT, but I've heard you don't need an amp for some turntables but I'm way out of my depth here.

Use the red and white RCA jacks on the composite lead. Output sound via the Multi-Out port.
        Kept you waiting, huh?
