Atari Jaguar 'blank screen' problem

Within the last few months my Jaguar has 'blank-screened' on me a couple of times during play. The power light is still on, but the screen just goes blank and the sound goes off. Nothing. I swtich it off and back on and it's all hunky dory again. Any ideas where the problem might be?
