possible fake dualshock 3 from argos (red)

bought a new dualshock 3 today from argos and i susspect it might be a fake


can anyone with an official red controller check it the light on the top (syncing light) shines through the case? everything else (packaging etc ) seems to check out, even the weight

also i've noticed that it states dc 5v 500ma, but on my other controller it says dc 3.7 300ma - model no CECHZC2E A1



not good if fakes are now inflitrated into retail stores.....

Mine did that when i had one. It isnt a fake. Its just the cheap materials that sony use.

no, its a black dualshock 3 (came with the console)

its light up like a christmas tree - surely this isnt right; no quality control at sony hq?

can anyone check the voltage an mh of a new pad for me?

edit - seems to be legit

everything else checks out outher than half the casing lighting up
