    Old consoles through plasma.

I just dug out some of my old consoles, namely a modded US N64 which used to work and look awesome on my old Trinitron, but for some reason I no longer get a picture Also my modded Neo Geo AES's picture is off center and ends up cutting out and flickering etc. I tried it on my LCD and while the picture is still off center I dont get the garbled cutting out and flicker on the Neo Geo, the n64 just does not get a picture on either.

Any ideas what I can do to sort it? I presume it is something to do with how the RGB cable is wired.

Which N64 mod type have you got?

My 3wire plus basic bridge amp got a picture but flickered badly.
My 3wire plus scart amp gave a picture but it was all cross-hatched. Still have no idea why.
My RGB chip mod was the only decent picture (and looks lovely).

I bought it off a forum member here about 6 months ago. I honeslty don't know what version it is, all Iknow is it looked amazing when it did work on my non modern TV. I just dont even get a picture at all now. The RGB scart cable seems to be hard wired to the console though, Ie you cannot unplug it.

        weird.

So it doesn't give a picture on a CRT either? Sounds like scart cable will be dodgy. Do you get sound?
Worth opening it up and seeing if anything has come loose.
If you don't have a screwbit, lmk and I'll lend you mine.

I'm going to get my bro to have a look tomorrow to see how it was modded (and hopefully fix it). I no longer have my CRT and I don't know anyone with one now lol. I would have kept mine but it was massive and just didn't have the room Thanks for the offer of the screwbit but I should be ok.

Ok, I managed to get this working but the picture is Black and White. The TV only has one scart and it says its got RGB so should work, but seems to use AUTO and there is no way of selecting RGB. I tried on my other Panasonic and on that I can select between the scart and RGB and it looks fine, full colour, Any ideas?
