Video conversion software help

I've just picked up my Sony Tablet S. I also bought one for my darling Mavver. I'm after some video conversion software so she can watch Eastenders on t'move. Ideally if I could convert her Play TV recordings, that'd be erm, ideal. Is there anything out there that will do this?I'd appreciate any help

What formats can the tablet play? I'd be really surprised if handbrake couldn't spit something useful out. I used to use it to convert play tv files for psp use.

EDIT: I can confirm latest version of Handbrake supports m2ts files (this is what PlayTV produces) so it's just (how hard could it be!? lol) a matter of getting the right settings for the Tablet S and she can watch cockney's getting mad at each other wherever she goes.
