UK power supply + Super Famicom?

I've heard you can use a UK Mega Drive 1 power lead on a Super Famicom. Can anyone confirm this?

I actually use my UK Jaguar power lead on my Japanese MD1 ... just wondered if it'll be suitable for the Super Famicom too?

You can indeed use a MD1 PSU on a Super Fami.

The PSU that came with my US Jaguar was the same one that came with my SFC.

No. It won't even fit. You need a Mega Drive PSU for a SFC.
