    Panasonic Q PSU repair

Unfortunately i think i've blown the psu in my Q. I was untangling all the wires round the back off my consoles and plugged the wrong power cable in the back of the machine, feeding it 240volts Does anyone know if there is anyone that can fix these? I've already tried replacing the fuse inside the Q and this doesn't seem to solve the issue. The fuse that was in there was black and burnt.

The exact same thing happened to me with my Panasonic Q. A good friend of mine and fellow forumite (who shall remain nameless) plugged it in without using the step down. We were able to fix it by replacing the internal fuse with one kindly donated by his Dreamcast. I'm no expert, but could it be anything to do with the type of fuse used?

Thanks for the suggestions mate, tried a fuse out of a Dreamcast but unfortunately it made no difference.

Go get this Panny Q which have drive ejecting problem here.

Cost around ?55, the only way to go is to buy a faulty set and replace.

I highly doubt that would be cost effective. The PSU can be repaired.
          Kept you waiting, huh?

Yeah, saw that earlier, but it'd probably run to over ?100 with shipping.
