iPod Touch 4G Video Output to Laptop

I've started subscribing to the Sky Sports TV app on iOS (all Sky Sports channels plus ESPN for ?9.99 a month), which is really impressive for the price, but obviously watching on the small iPod Touch screen is less than ideal. However, I'm thinking that there must be some cheap, easy way to output the TV output to my laptop.

I've done a bit of digging around myself, and found a few apps for jailbroken iPods that could do the job. 'DisplayOut' appears to forcibly mirror the iPod screen over the TV out, and 'Resupported 4.0+' allows you to use unofficial cables. However, my laptop has no video-in socket.

Can anyone recommend a cheap-as-possible USB video input device that can be used with a laptop? I believe the iPod Touch 4G supports everything from Composite to S-Video to Component and VGA (maybe HDMI?). Given the Sky Sports app isn't exactly brilliant in terms of picture quality, it doesn't really matter which one I use really.

Has anyone had any experience doing this, and might know of a better way?

    Thanks

If you have access via IOS can you not access the Sky player on the PC?

Unfortunately not, that stuff requires a 'proper' Sky subscription rather than simply a Sky Sports TV iOS subscription.
