I've had problems with Scan before... took me 2 months to get a faulty DVD drive sorted. Their customer service at the time was awful. Saying that, I ordered many times before that and delivery was always quick.

I use www.aria.co.uk and I've never had any problems whatsoever. Very happy with them indeed and always my first port of call. I've never had to order anything from anyone else although I may be using www.ebuyer.co.uk for a new graphics card soon.

Not sure about the prices, but boy they are fast. Got a lovely Radeon 9800 Pro two days after it was ordered. Even came at a decent time (7:00 in the morning) in a huge bag thing. Ace!

Ordered stuff from OCUK and Komplett.co.uk

All delivered next day, all packaged well, and all good and well

Another vote for www.overclockers.co.uk and one for www.itchest.co.uk for network stuff - the bloke only has a small selection but he will price match and has excellent service (e.g. I put in order at 4:55pm and he makes sure it gets to me for the next morning).

I think www.tekheads.co.uk has to be one of the best sites around. Its not amazingly cheap but the service is excellent, probably the best i've ever experienced.

Make sure they go in the list

SCAN totally screwed my brother around, sending him a faulty motherboard and eventually not replacing it. I'll get more details and post them later.

In my experience dabs are the best of a bad bunch.
overclockers.co.uk promised a refund on a ?10 next day delivery charge that took over two weeks but didn't actually do it, housemate also had ridiculous delivery times.
Komplett used to have astounding customer service when they'd just started here but again refused to refund a next day delivery charge that took over two weeks despite it being entirely their fault rather than the courier (in any case they're legally resposible).
ebuyer sold me a completely misadvertised graphics card and refused to refund me until I could prove, after about ten hours of emails going back and forth, that the performance was nowhere near what they claimed by pointing out that the specs on the box didn't match their site. I ended up setting Trading Standards on them for what appeared very much like a scam.
In contrast dabs have always been fairly reasonable about problems, if you explain to them why they legally owe you a refund they'll actually respect that, whereas some of the popular sites see themselves as above the law. I've had stuff damaged in the post and they sent out a new one without even needing the damaged item back first. They even sent me out a new item when I accidentally ordered something to my old address. They did take nearly three months to replace a hard drive (IBM Deskstar, natch) but presumably that's IBM's fault.

It's mainly whole computer systems they sell, but I have to put a good word in for Evesham.com (www.evesham.com). The customer service is excellent.

Spookily enough I thought I'd better add Evesham. As someone who is incapable of putting a CPU fan on without injuring himself, I find Evesham a great company - they've put together 4 PC's for me/family in the last 8 years. Highly recommended

Very impressed with Overclockers service. Just bought a load of components from them and service was excellent.

eBuyer also did quite well, but their delivery times weren't the best considering I paid for a priority service...
