Panasonic Q mod broken

My Panasonic Q mod has broken, i can play US/Jap games, and American DVD's (R1) but i can no longer play R2 dvd's or home made dvd's.

www.DVDchips.com is willing to sell me the chip but i have to take it to a tv repair place, i was given a few numbers by them but upon calling they didnt even know what a Panasonic Q was, so i dont really want to give my machine to them for them to cock it all up.

Does anywhere else do the mods? And what prices am i looking at? If i cant find anywhere that does i may have to sell it and buy another one where the mod works.

It mentions the excellent job on a PAL and mounted switch game region mod. The company I used was www.zoodirect.co.uk

I tried Saurian, sadly like everyone else, no one will touch the mods I'll have a look at this zoodirect place, doesnt look to professional though...

i think u might need a pro to do it as isn't it a surface mounted chip that the mod uses and if thats blown then it will need some one with the equipment to do it

Yeah i know, thats the problem, but no one wants to touch it. Some TV repair shops will, but they dont even know what one is so im not too keen on this idea. Although as its an actual panasonic dvd player inside they will have an idea of what they are doing, forget what model dvd player it is.
