PS1 questions

My girlfriends dad has given me his PAL PS1 - it's been used about twice so is in tip top condition - now for the questions:

Is there a boot disc available to play imports? How reliable is it if there is one? Are there any problem games (that won't play)

Basically, all I want is R-Type 1&2, Delta & Ridge 4

Any help much appreciated.

There is a boot disk for the PSX that allows you to play imports. I haven't owned one so I don't know how good it is, but I haven't heard anything bad about it.

that ps boot disc is that psx change it works well to boot games or you could get it modded instead
