Mpeg files to PC/Xbox harddrive problem

I'm attempting to transfer mpeg files (AVES01 [sp?] or something) from CD-R vcd to my PC HDD, to then put onto my Xbox hdd to view (doesn't read CD-R)

I only transfer the file in the mpeg folder (as above AVES01 ?) and usually it works fine. However on certain vcds I get:

INVALID MS DOS FUNCTION

Appear in a pop up box and the transfer stops. The files run fine from cd though

Is there anything i can do to get them onto the hdd?

Please let me know if there is a solution (transfering certain other files from disc etc...)

Try downloading the app VCDGear, which will extract the MPeg file straight to a file on your Hard drive which you can then place on your xbox.
