When i first read this i was gonna say -what!!! absolutely now way, intentional delay of the mail is taken seriously and is a sackable offence (i know a guy this happened to)

However after reading it again, i'm guessing that you mean individual postmen perhaps "binning stuff" rather than having to post it all?
This (that i know of)is very rare, especially with full-time staff, one of the reasons that the postal service has deteriorated over the last few years is down to casual staff being used on delivery, and this is mainly due to the fact that the postie's money is **** for working **** hours, and hence permanent new postie jobs are not so sought after.

I would say that the posties really wanna get peoples mail to ya and sorted out asap, they are full aware that the public are well ****ed off with em
Personally yesterday (first full day back for posties) i had 3 seperate deliverys.
If more mail goes missing than normally would then i'd be very surprised.

mine is a beko bought this year and i visited their site and most of their tv's are 60hz.

Recieved one DVD from DVDBO this morning. Took 14 days for delivery, so 6-7 days more than normal. Still waiting for a few more packages from them - hopefully they will turn up soon.

Weird stuff still happening here. Yesterday I received a bunch of stuff from Amazon that shipped on Friday and Sunday. Today I received an invoice for my new carpet that was sent on the 20th of October. Still waiting on two games sent from Edinburgh on Thursday. So its a bit all over the place.

I have some eBay wins (Japanese versions of DOA3 and Tekken Tag) on the way which would (I presume) have been posted last week. Also "Finding Nemo" from Loaded 24/7 but that was only posted last Thursday.

For the first time since the strike I had no post on Monday (I am in the Hemel Hempstead postal area and I don't think they have been out), yesterday a small amount. Hopefully the situation will improve.

Aylesbury is probably suffering the same situation as us here in Chesham, i.e. that while the local post is working anything coming from a long way goes via the central depots in London, which have been on strike - your post seems to have mirrored mine.

Its come from Game in bracknell so I guess some of the backlog has been shifted now

Mine's weird - I'm still waiting for about 3 packages/parcels which I expected to come last week - only 1 was international.

I ordered 3 DVDs from Play on the same day (last tuesday) all said they'd been sent on the same day - got 2 on saturday and no sign of the 3rd yet but I've got normal mail in the intervening period. I think there's a large amount of packages that are just sitting somewhere - appears to be totally random.

My PSOne screen and Paper Mario has turned up with a supposed ?16.33 customs charge on it (does Mount Pleasant ring any bells?).

Our receptionist just dropped off the parcel in my room 20 minutes ago, when I asked her if they asked for any money she said the woman just dropped it off. Strangeness.

BTW: Customs have ripped the living **** out of the previously 'sealed' PSOne LCD screen box, the lid is hanging off and looks bashed.

On the way to the train station today, i saw about 5 royal mail vans and lorries pouring out of the sorting office, they were on a proper mission hehe.
