NGC memory cards.

Just like GamesTM my large (256?) official memory card decided to lose all its info this week. FZ, SMS, SMB, LM, RE, WRBS, SSB and a few others all gone ft: Boy did that piss me off ft:

It wasn't even during operation. It was sat on the bloody side!

Don't put memory cards near magnets or under heavy objects?

Seriously though, I've got 5 official memory cards (mc59's though - no big ones) in heavy rotation and never had any problems. I wouldn't count a couple of bad experiences as indication that official memory cards are dodgy.

Easy lads! Did I suggest that the memory cards were poorly manufactured? No. Was I making a point? No. Did I point out that GamesTM suffered a similar problem (as stated in this months mag)? Yes. So do you think then that I may have been fishing for similar incidents?

The item was sat next to the Q, far away from any electronic equipment with strong magentic fields. Wasn't too warm, wasn't too cold. Had been used a couple of days earlier and no probs.

All I wanted to say was "man it's a pisser when you lose all your saves"

PS: If I had said "I went outside today" would I have had a torrent of posts accusing me of insulting the wonder of nature?

I had me sleeves rolled up and me mates behind me. Just in case it got nasty like

I dont think they were having a go, I think they were unsure why this was in the Q & A folder as you didnt really post a question as such.

Unlucky though to have so many game saves lost. I normally have quite a few cards and spread the game saves over them so in the event of losing the save data it will only be on 2-3 games rather than all of them (shame its an expensive way of getting around the problem).
