Xbla purchases on multiple consoles

Hi all,

I've got my nephews slim Xbox here and was going to let him choose some xbla games to purchase using some spare points I have. It's here because he doesn't have internet access anymore but there may be a problem of him remembering the registration email his mother used go online initially.

If I connect online and use my online profile to purchase and download to his console, could he then play them offline with his profile when it's back home. Would I then be able to download them to my console and profile to play? I assume I'd have to be always online (as i wouldnt transfer the licenses via xbox.com) which I generally am anyway.

And would there be any challenges if I upgraded to a slim model in the future with regards to transferring the licenses?

It's pretty much exactly as you say, the games will be 'bound' to the console so all profiles on it will be able to play them. And you can play them on your own console as long as you are connected to live.
