HDMI sound distortion problem?

Hi guys, got a problem with my pc connected to my tv.

After a seemingly random period of time, the audio or hdmi will start to distort, remedied by disconnecting the lead and reinserting.

I've tried 2 different leads and different sockets on the tv. This does not occur with other hdmi connected items with the same leads and sockets.

Any ideas would be greatly received.

Perhaps a driver issue, maybe have a look and see if there are any newer drivers for your sound and graphics card

Hmm i just read this could be a problem with regza tvs and I may need grade the firmware, though strikes me as odd that it only occurs with the pc, and I don't recall it happening with my previous gfx catc. Will look into the drivers.
