    PS2 memory card corrupt.

Ok I fired up GT3 tonight to have a race. The data didn't load so I went to the PS2 browser to see why. When selecting the card, the first file is corrupt but I cannot delete it or even access the data as it automatically throws me back to the browser menu. I can format it from the GT3 menu but the card is completely full with data from all of my racing games!

    Any ideas?

You know that Ridge Racer V save data needs its own memory card right Martin? I assume this is your problem. You can refomat the entire card with Utility Disc 1.0.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Could also use homebrew in the form of McKiller or the utility provided by the freemcboot install files.

My Ridge Racer V is US Daryl so that doesn't apply right?

Do I just have to bite the bullet and format it?

I thought only PAL RRV was fixed.

You could copy everything else over and then format.

It won't even let me get into the menu as it just cancels and throws me out.
