XBox Region Free DVD Software

Hey all, I currently have a mod chipped XBox with the dongle free DVD software installed. I've borrowed my friend's XBox remote to see if it works with XBox Media Player (it does) but the DVD software doesn't appear to be compatible. Is there a version which will work with the remote or will I have to use a joypad and remote in tandem?

If you've got the remote then you can just use the default dvd player thats in the original ms dashboard.

Doesn't that simply allow you to play region 2 only DVDs though?
