Other people's files showing up in Google Docs

Hey,

I was just using my Google Docs and noticed a strange file had appeared. It was an image from CD Projekt's new Cyberpunk game and it had an owner I didn't recognise. I googled him hard and he is the PR manager for the game.

I never received a mail that the image had been shared with me, it just showed up. I assume it is because I was signed in as the PR email from my game studio Quarter Circle Punch Game Works and that it was supposed to be shared with quartercirclepunch.net, a game news site but I never got a notification about it being shared.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Can you randomly push files into other people's Google Docs without telling them?

If you authorise access to your docs to other people they'll appear in their list of docs but this usually needs to be an explicit share.
