    Olympus Eyetrek with Gamecube

How do I connect my GC to my eyetrek? I did it with my N64 and sold that years ago and therefore have forgotten how I even connected that. I've tried putting the yellow video lead into the yellow socket and it doesn't work for some reason.
I remember it being absolutely fantastic with the N64, Pilotwings became one of the most terrifying games EVER. (for those who don't know, the Eyetrek are glasses with a screen in which makes it look like you're sitting playing on a cinema sized screen. Always amazing, and works best with games with a first person perspective optional (or not). Flying towards the ground in the gyrocopter became an incredibly nauseous experience, and genuinely terrifying. I won't even go into Goldeneye!

So how do I connect my GC to my eyetrek?

Send a PM to Importaku,He uses his Gamecube with his Eyetrek glasses sometimes and he knows how to connect it.

Hmm which model are you using, are you using the same region for the same region system i.e. pal eyetreks on a pal console or ntsc eyetreks on a ntsc console??

On my japanese eye trek goggles there are 2 inputs there is a super video socket & a socket that looks a bit like a headphone socket.

Sadly when i got mine it was missing the cable to allow me to use the headphone type socket so i have to use the S video input instead. I did get a cable for the headphone type socket but the video didnt work properly but the sound is fine so i use the s video socket for the picture and connect red & white plugs to the cable that goes into the headphone type socket so i can get sound.

Heres a pic from my japanese eye trek manual that may help.

What are those things between the yellow and yellow, red and red etc? I can connect my GC exactly like that, however I'm a little clueless on how to connect the exact same cable ends to each other-and these 'things' I'm referring to as in that 2nd diagram seem to solve the problem!

Those things in between the plugs are phono to phono adapters. You can get them from most electronics shops.

heres a site with pics of them
