    Cheap Android tablet for gaming?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right forum for a question like this, or if this has been covered elsewhere. But I'd like to get a really really cheap Android tablet (sub-?50) just for gaming. Can anyone recommend one?

Having thought about it, maybe sub-?100 is more sensible.

Didn't someone post a review of a Chinese tablet in the general forum? I was given link to a retailer that seemed to have new models coming in all the time, don't have it anymore sorry. Best to look around and read some reviews as well as look at upcoming models.

Cheers for the replies. Looked into the thread you mentioned and eventually found this... http://www.willgoo.com/jxd-s5100-del...4gb-p-266.html

          Seems ideal.

                For info guys:

Google has unveiled Nexus 7 - a tablet made by Asus - and will sell its augmented reality glasses to developers from 2013.

Just had to nip round to maplin for a psu. They have a 10.1" arnova tablet for ?150, with a memory card slot. Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich (Whatever the **** that means?) Any good? Designed by Archos, who used to make some decent gadgets.

I wouldn't touch an Archos or Arnova with a barge pole. Cheap and very nasty. They are shocking for support and prone to design flaws. Their most recent tablet had a screen ripple where the battery touched the LCD ever time any kind of pressure was put on rear. Even picking it up would cause it to ripple. The nexus 7 will hopefully deep six these budget brands who think cause it's cheap the user will accept shoddy goods

My first Android tablet was an Archos A101T and it was awesome. Zero complaints about anything from me except that I cracked the screen and had to replace it. And they won't ship directly to Canada anymore. I'd read similar reports, but did you ever actually use one yourself Davek22?
