    Acebit Wiseftp (although now I just use winscp for secure transfer).
    Amazon mp3 downloader used a couple of times
    Apache friends xampp - used to test changes to the site on my PC
    Arcade PC Loader - for that TaitoX emu
    Arcsoft Photostudio - for doing the banners
    Canon camera utilities (zoombrowser)
    Context - code editor
    corecodec - don't think I use this any more
    CPUID CPU-Z - tells you about your CPU
    Daemon tools lite - virtual drive mounts
    Dosbox - for dos games
    ESET - virusguard
    Exact Audio Copy - CD ripping for the perfectionist
    Express Gate - tried once.... It allows you to boot into a linux OS stored in BIOS.... Crazy fast boot time, but limited.
    Foxit reader - alterantive to adobe reader
    FreeFileSync - allows you to sync files. for free
    Gigaset quicksync - bluetooth contacts from outlook to DECT phone
    Gimpshop - erm... not what it sounds like I don't actually use this. Photostudio does everything I need in a more user friendly way
    Handbrake - video conversion
    irfanview - picture conversion
    Logitech harmony - adjust the remote
    Logitech media server - FLAC music beamed around the house.
    Malwarebytes - run this every now and then
    Media player classic HCE - because Windows media player is pants
    MS Office
    mIRC - chat
    mp3tag - essential tool
    Nero - burning discs and stuff
    Nokia pc suite - phone stuff
    Oracle Virtualbox - run linux etc.
    project64 - N64 emu

    slysoft anydvd - removes protection from dvds and blurays so I can rip my own stuff to the PC

            Mac:
            Roboform - for handling my passwords. Haven't paid for the full version, so it won't automatically log me in, I have to open the program and dig out the passwords I need.
            Jview - A better image viewing solution than the default in OSX.
            Sleeptime - A sleep timer for when viewing videos in bed.
            Isolator - Darkens everything but the active window. Great for when writing stuff.
            VLC Media Player - ...
            Tunesify Lite - Needed for converting my ripped CDs from FLAC to something my iPod supports.
            AirVideo Server - For streaming my videos to my iPad.
            Plex - Media center software.
            XBMX - Media center software.

                I have all my **** on my PC at work (Adobe CS6 Prod. Premium, uTorrent) and only the bare essentials on my laptop at home (games).
