The panel is VA based....so better than TN but not as good as IPS.
It may have a bit of ghosting, and average viewing angles, but the blacks and contrast should be decent.
I wonder what the input lag figure is?Comment

Strangely no. I didn't fancy having to use a stepdown with it. Also the UK one comes with 2x glasses, GT5, MotorStorm Apocalypse and a HDMI cable. You literally just have to plug in your PS3 and you're ready to go.
I also figured that whilst it's almost half the price in the US, there is no way it'd get past customs without HEAVY taxation. Add in the shipping fees, and it's not really that much of a saving. You'd have no warranty either.Kept you waiting, huh?Comment
