Yes IGN says it does progressive scan.

I have a question:

Ok, so you dont need a GC/GBA link up to unlock PoP1, but i was under the impression that it could be d/l to the GBA to take around with you, no? This would certainly be very cool and better than simply playing it on your TV.

Not sure if anybody is 100% on this. I was led to believe that the XBox version has the unlockables of both POP1 & 2, which would make it the definitive version if that were true.

The Xbox version has POP2 where else the PS2 and GC versions have POP1. I'm pretty sure that the Xbox version doesn't have both POP1 & 2.

Just in case anyone is still wondering, I can confirm that the Xbox version has both POP 1 + 2 as unlockables.

My mistake then as i thought the Xbox ver. had only POP2. Seems that xbox prince is the definite version.

Which version of POP1 and POP2 do you get? Prince of Persia 1 is 15 years old! I remember playing it on the Apple II. [Along with Karateka which as I recall predated PoP but had the same gameplay style but it also had king fu]. [couple of shots of Karateka.





It was a great game and well ahead of its time, funny thing at the end happened if you try to rescue the girly in fight mode.

I can't find any screens of the Apple II version but it was the first release of Prince of Persia and at the time it flew off the shelves.
