Jpn N64 TV screen output - help required

I tried fine tuning and all sorts of vacant channels but got no joy

I'm at a loss as to what else to try.

Have you tried the same scart adaptor and AV cable with your N64 on another TV?

I tried the A/V cable direct through my tv in the living room (without the use of the scart block) and it provided a much sharper, and more colourful display than when put through the rgb scart lead i have.
