    resellers experiance

    Hey TV people,

Im hopefully moving abroad for work in a few months, i was hoping to liquidate all my assets before i go, such as my 42" panasonic plasma.

Although, tv technology at least seems to move so fast that my few years old 1200? tv is now pretty much worth sod all squared.

Have any of your tv/audio gurus had experiences with reselling, successes etc? I guess putting it in the local paper adverts is the best i can hope for, but I thought id check out peoples info here in case there were perhaps some good other options.

Oh ive just thought of one already, maybe cash converters or something *shrugs*, anyway cheers

I tend to put any AV stuff for sale on AVForums, never had any issues. As you mentioned you won't get anywhere near the original price you paid, but you can do a search on there and find out the going rate.

I use AVForums for a quick sale but for the best sale prices I go the Gumtree / Ebay route.

Ebay, best offers, someone with reputable feedback makes an offer, deal with it out of the bay, no fees, buyer pays cash and collects. Due to nature of item, you're bound to get some daft offers, but you'll hopefully get a genuine enquiry, which leads to decent deal for you.
