Difference between EU and UK Xbox points?

    Difference between EU and UK Xbox points?

    I keep seeing eBay auctions selling "EU/UK" Xbox points. Are they the same thing? PSN is region locked per country - a French card won't work on a UK account.

    Will an Xbox points card bought in France work on a UK account? I have store credit I want to clear. The way these eBay auctions are listed makes me think that the EU is treated as a single region.

    Any advice? Tried googling, found nothing.

    They used to be regionless. I gave some American friends the codes I had from my HMV preorders and they worked for them fine. That was a while ago mind you.

      Interesting! May have to risk it. Why would eBay sellers say EU/UK if they weren't region free?
