Recommend me a quality 27" monitor

I've started enjoying a bit of PC gaming in the study, and well the 24" doesn't quite cut it..

I don't know if a monitor with the following requirements exist...?

- 27"
- 1920 x 1080 native
- Asus monitor levels of lag
- 10 bit IPS image quality
- DVI and HDMI in

Price isn't important!

It's 2560x1440 though, games will look epic.

Cool, so that's decent for fighting games then? I was under the impression it had a ton of lag...?

It's nothing that noticeable, this will be for recreational use anyway. I get on with my U2410 with a similar amount of input lag playing 3S just fine.

also should ask, seeing as its my lappy and not my desktop - the resolution will hurt performance badly wont it? Plus with the PS3 connected to it, it'll look bad?

Alienware M17x:

2670QM
20GB DDR3
GTX 680M 4GB

If you reckon my lappy is good enough for that res, and my PS3 wont look complete rubbish i'll get it!

lol yeah, mine was faulty and well that ended that, I'm currently swaying in the direction of the U2711, just hoping my Lappy can handle the resolution well enough...

Just make sure you are not bothered by input lag, as the 2711 has plenty. How was your hazro faulty? did you try a replacement or just write it off?

tbh it was a year ago, so I dont remember exactly what was wrong... I just bought a U2711 apparently there's about 2 frames of lag - which is workable! I don't think I'll notice it too much afterall I'm hardly that good at fighters anyway!

Picked it up for a bargain of ?240 too, so mustn't grumble!

so yeah, maybe not such a bargain considering its fooked. Just ordered a U2713 instead!

Those are AH-IPS which is about the same as E-IPS, being 8bit rather than 10bit.

They're the budget model basically.
