US Software on a UK PC ?

Anyone know if it's possible to play US software on a UK set PC without any problems ?

Deus Ex Invisible War gets a US release in less than three weeks while we have to wait until February ( another good example of UK gamers getting shafted )

Would I be able to import it and play it, or will it have some kind of region setting on it ( do they even do this with PC software ? )

and as with many releases, items bought in america often have all the bugs and problems ironed out before their counterpart EUR release

Edit: I mean, the EUR version has bugs etc taken out, not the other way around

It'll work fine, there aren't any regions for PC software.

I do remember the UK version of Quake 2 not installing unless you set the locality to UK.

Only reason i found this out was when we were installing it at college to play over the network, and the PC's has been set to USA locality.

Anyway, even if it has, its not hard to get round.
