Bandwidth on home internet causing slow Xbox 360 live sign in.

Hey, also mr_rich, do you live in an area where that's the max speed you can buy? If so, me too. If you can afford it, change to vivaciti.net They do a business pack for around ?25-30 per month which allows you double the upstream (67kb/s instead of the 33 I'm guessing you are getting) and the option to change to fastpath if you are close enough to the exchange. Basically their website is a confusing mess, so just phone them up and tell them your needs, i.e. I'm a gamer and I like watching netflix so I want low ping and fast upload (for example) and they will select the best one. I have a fair use policy but I think it's 300GB per month so I'm never hitting that! The business pack I'm on is also not "shaped" so whatever you are using it for is fast.

I've never looked back, even though the price is steep.

i think ill go down the faster internet route, and make sure they have a decent bandwidth allowance for gaming.
weirdly, when i actually get onto the game and play online, everything seems fine. its just when i use any xbox home button functions (such as joining parties etc) that it messes up.
