Return of the King on a Modded Xbox...

...it doesn't work. I am using a mod with a switch (Xecuter 2) and all my other games work fine, yet this doesn't. Any ideas??

    What Region version game?

You mean won't go on the HDD or play from the DVD drive?

I put the game in the drive, it boots up to the Xbox startup screen and then doesn't get any further (this was reproducible with either the mod turned on or off).

Hmm I had this exact problem with Tiger Woods 2004, tried 3 different versions (which all worked fine instore), and I also tried a 'backup' copy which worked fine on other modded X-Boxes but failed to work on mine.

Everything else I've tried on my machine has worked perfectly.....

Sorry, can't be any help though as I gave up trying in the end

Have you tried flashing to a different bios?

Did you change your Xbox to NTSC with the Enigmah switcher? If so, try changing it back to PAL again.

Have you tried to set the clock on the xbox, as if this isn't set, the machine can be liable to behave as yours is with return of the king alternatively the bios on your mod chip might be needing to be updated, I think the slayers disk does this.

I guess you didn't try the 2 towers on a modded Xbox either. Same problem.

have you got a larger hard drive?

if not it maybe because you've got a western digital hard drive, i couldn't run media player when i had that hdd instaleed but i swapped it for a seagate and it worked fine.

Pal versions of TW2003, TW2004, LOTR TT and LOTR ROTK all refuse to load unless the machine is set to PAL with Enigmas Switch Disc as Yod@ said.

Either get Enigma on a bootable disc or put it on your hdd.

They're the only games I've had do this to me (but I know of a few others too ie. Enter the Matrix)
