mario kart save probs

I seem to be having problems saving mario kart (jap GC). when you turn the game on, im not sure what options to select with them being jap text. Also how many blocks does it take on your memory card?.

A savegame is 3 or 4 blocks.

The screen at the beginning is asking you, if you want to create a save game.

いいえ = no
