F-Zero or Burnout 2 for kids?

    Hi,

I've never been that big on racing games hence me asking this question, but after playing Mario Kart DD to death the last few days my seven year old son wants me to buy him another racing game for Crimbo, the two he likes the look of are F-Zero and Burnout 2, but I'm worried about the difficulty level on them as he wouldn't want anything too hard. I know that F-Zero gets rock hard, but does it start off easy enough or is there an easier option?

Any advice on which would be the best/easiest for him?

    Thanks.

Burnout 2 is probably the easier game and has the crash mode which the kids will love.

    Alternatively, Kirby's Airride.

As much as i like F-Zero, i'd buy burnout 2 for the kids.

I get the feeling kids prefer to smash cars up.

FZERO, because Burnout 2 encourages reckless driving and is not suitabl--- hang on... am I saying? Buy 'em Burnout 2, it's amazing, and definitely more accessible than FZERO.

I'm 29 on Wednesday, and I think F-Zero is rock hard after the first championship myself. Burnout 2 is the very model of accessible in comparison.

Mind you; I've always sucked at the F-Zero series; I didn't get far on either the N64 or GBA versions either.

Would have to be Burnout 2. F-Zero is fairly tough to begin with and gets harder.

Burnout 2 has a pretty nice difficulty curve and plenty to do from the outset.
