    Whoops

    Went out to get a hifi rack. Came back with the rack and a new AV amp. Pioneer VSX-527.

    Very pleased with it. Has DLNA and Airplay support. Only 5.1 but I'll never have alounge big enough for side speakers so that's fine. Plays my FLAC files just fine and the sound is a significant step up from my old yamaha (more than I was expecting, probably due to the DTS HD support I guess). Will post pics once I've cleaned up a bit.

        Been re ripping all my cds and vinyl in flac. Ps3 won't play them though so i needed an alternative. I put xbmc on an rpi and that's really good but for it to be really useful i needed an amp that supported hdmi. Didn't realise the ones with dlna support had become so cheap.
