    Japanese Saturn voltage question

Got my Japanese Saturn through the post last week and am poised ready to buy a voltage converter as recommended by Soundwave. However I just want to check a thing out first - the back of the console says 100V, but the Japanese-plug power cable I have been sent with the Saturn says 125V on it. I'm sure I read that you can only have a 3-5% discrepancy when it comes to voltage, whereas this is an extra 25%, but it seems unlikely that the person who sent me the console would never have used the console himself and I presume it's the cable he used. Either way, assuming that cable is fine to use with it, do I then want a 230V to 100V stepdown or a 230V to 125V? I did search google for answers before asking here but no luck (or I wasn't looking in the right places).

    and the supplied cable.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Alrighty, thanks (that's cheaper than the one I was looking at). So the fact that it says "suitable for 45V consumption only" isn't an issue?

It means that it'll take a maximum of 45 watts. A Saturn will only draw about 20 watts, so you'll be fine with that one. They're what everyone used to use back in the day. It was only when the 6th Generation came about that we needed 100w units.

Excellent, thanks to both of you for all the help.
