True. My telly does 3.58, but not 4.43.

I have one of these: http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_1833.html. I also have the 28" version, and a Philips 32" in the lounge. In my world, Philips are the CRT kings. It does 60Hz, has 2 scart holes and it works with my US Gamecube through composite. At ?152.99, not bad at all.

It might be worth a visit to Richer Sounds if you have one near you as they don't mind you testing stuff out if you give 'em a ring...

the fact that it says 50hz is probably cos 100hz is such a big thing now that manufactuers make a point of saying if it's 50hz cos they know a lot of people don't actually like 100hz.

it says on the spec that it does ntsc, so by very definition it must be able to do 60hz as that's what ntsc runs at

What shortround said, it's because it's not 100Hz.

Definitely does 60Hz, my GC works in all it's US glory, (NTSC composite, yummy). Looked on the back and it has the same code as the one on that site: 21PT4457.

To be honest it's the NTSC bit that's important as I think almost all modern TVs do 60Hz.
