How can I put PSP and PS1 save games onto the Vita?

Any help would be appreciated! I want to play FF6 on the Vita, but the FF6 save isn't recognised on the content manager. I've transferred the save into the ps3, but its not in a place that the Vita recognises it and can't find a way to move it :/

Have you tried just saving it to your PC then transferring it to the Vita memory stick?
