PAL GCN SVHS

I did perform a search for this but couldn't find a clear cut answer, so;

Does the PAL Gamecube output an SVHS signal?

I understand that it DOESN'T, but I was curious about leads like this. Is this going to display a composite image?

The reason I ask is that I am looking at getting a projector, most of which only have an S-VHS input.

Its looking like an RBG-->SVHS coverter is the way forward...

i think nintendo forgot to tell all the 3rd parties that the pal gamecube wouldn't output s-video, so they went ahead and manufactured a load of them cables and they were obsolete by the time the pal cube got released! i presume a lot of companies like the one in your link are still trying to palm off old stock to unwitting customers. gits.

aye Mad Catz and a few other companies released UK Spec S-Video cables then found out afterwards that they wudn't work with PAL gamecubes.

If you're getting a projector:
Get a component lead and a projector that supports component input.

I didn't know you could get a component lead for a PAL cube...?

I think you have to import one from japan - thats what I did. Play-asia and lik-sang do them.

Works fine with a pal cube.
