Best place to pre-order Deus Ex 2 US?

I really want to buy the USA version of Deus Ex 2, out on 02/12/03.

What is the best place on the Internet to order it from? Tronix and Goblin do not do PC stuff to my knowledge. Amazon US do not ship games to the UK. Import Madness have it availabale for pre-order, but I'm a bit unsure about them.

Any ideas?

Just pre-ordered it from DVD Box Office myself. I've been a little afraid to use them in the past, should work out okay though.

Has anyone recieved there copy for DVD Box Office yet?

Is there any other online shops selling it that will post to europe?

Is it worth buying the PC version over the Xbox version?

No sign of mine yet ( which is not unusual as it takes roughly a week from release to get here unless you pay for Courier shipping )

I haven't had my dispatch e-mail mind you ( along with lots of others on the Eidos forums )

Must be some kind of hold up at their end......


Early results seem to indicate the PC version does seem to be the better of the two - but then I suppose it depends on the power of your system

There's a thread on the Eidos forums about people that have ordered from DVDBO and still haven't recieved it.

Nor I. But it was only shipped on friday (although this is what it says for my account on the site - I never received a despatch email )

My PC handled the demo full detail and 1024x768 without framerate problems so I'm looking forward to the finished thing. I am one of few PC gamers actually quite happy with the streamlining of the game (apart from the inventory interface, which is a mess if you try to use the mouse) on my experience of the demo (albeit after I tweaked ini settings)
