Ok so I have my eboot let's say, where do I place the file to run it? Sorry for the dumb questions

Place the eboot in it's own directory (make one, maybe call it Resident Evil 2 or whatever your game is) within the /PSP/GAME directory, just the same as Picodrive is. It'll be the same for anything in eboot format.

Also, be sure you properly stop the USB connection via the PC rather than the PSP. I've found not doing this has stopped games showing up properly.

Well I've been romwhoreing a couple of days with this thing, I can't get psone games to run, I've only downloaded a couple of titles, neither worked, showing as coruppted data, in fact more than half the roms I download don't run at all, especially on final burn alpha, is this normal? (I have the latest version)
I'm picking and choosing games rather than mass dumps but compatibility generally seems low. Picodrive being an exception but good though it is, I think games look kinda of ****ty on it, blurry filtering, (I know this can be turned off, but it's still looks bad with it off, just different bad)

Are you sure you're installing them properly? The eboot.pbp file has to be within it's own directory within the PSP/GAME folder. So for example, Resident Evil 2 might be PSP/GAME/Resident Evil 2/eboot.pbp. The games have to be in eboot.pbp format, not ISO format.

As for Picodrive, it's worth delving into the options. I have it set up at the moment so that it's basically perfect. So screen filtering, no screen tearing, full framerate. At worst, there might be some slightly weird-sounding sound effects.

Cheers, I'll have another go with the ps1 games, I think I know where I may have gone wrong.

Can't get this to work PSP/GAME/Resident Evil 2/eboot.pbp

Is 'eboot.pbp' a sub folder? or the rom file itself?

Im currently doing this: PSP/GAME/Resident Evil 2 and placing the rom file (eboot.pbp?) in the Resident Evil 2 sub folder, Fail??

                    HALP!!

On the surface, you're doing it right.

Perhaps it's the placement of the PSP/GAME folder that's the problem

Just to check, you did create the PS1 file using PSX2PSP, or downloaded it from somewhere in .eboot.pbp format, right? eboot/pbp is the game itself, and should be within it's own subfolder (I used the example 'Resident Evil 2') within PSP/GAME

I'm not entirely sure where it's going wrong, to be honest. The game should simply be within it's own subfolder within the PSP/GAME directory, assuming it's in the correct format.

I downloaded the game in eboot.pbp format. Maybe a bad upload or something. Cheers guys.

make a file called GAME and put the ps1 eboot is that

make sure you active the CFW first before you run it

That's a slightly confusing way of putting it, given that a folder called GAME already exist.

The eboot just has to be inside it's own folder within the PSP/GAME directory. It's the same as Picodrive.
