Lag on Xbox Live

Since changing my ISP I'm getting a lot of lag on Xbox live, most noticeably in Street Fighter 4. I'm using a wired connection to the router and have tried making sure nothing else is connected to the router. I've tried reseting the router and online speed test says my ping is 30-40.

The internet connection is fine for other stuff like streaming and downloading so no problems there.

Is there anything else I can do?

Might be worth googling for problems specific to your ISP, or speaking to them direct?

I could be wrong but I think it's possible for ISPs to "recognise" XBL traffic the same way they can bittorrent and other types of traffic, so there's a chance they could be throttling it?
