Wii & Wii U sound question

I was just wondering as I don't understand all this Pro Logic 2, Dolby 5.1, Dolby Digital, PCM etc etc. I noticed on the back of the Skyward Sword box for the Wii it says it supports Dolby Pro Logic 2, and I know the Wii-U Does not support that format, so is it is best to play the game on the Wii or the Wii-U for the best sound experience.

DPL2 (Dolby Pro Logic 2) is different than Dolby Digital (Ac3/Dolby 5.1, Dolby EX) in that 5.1 channels are "emulated" by deriving them from an audio stream by an external decoder, rather than the source outputting a pre-encoded digital signal to the decoder.
If you have a 5.1 setup that supports DLP2 decoding, use the Wii. Otherwise, stick to stereo and play on whatever console you prefer.
