Don't want to Mod my MadCatz SF Tournament Stick - just want to get replace parts.

I have a Madcatz Street Fighter 4 tournament arcade stick which i like very much as it is. Its getting to the point where I think I should buy some spare parts because i feel that the buttons or stick micro-switches (or equivalent, i have no idea what it uses) will break soon

This is the stick I have.

I googled but all I can find are tutorials on how to mod it with different types of buttons and an American style joystick. I like it how it is now, so what do i need to do and buy to just replace like with like? (I dont know anything about this sort of thing so please explain in a basic way)

Thanks very much for any help

Sanwa parts are designed to be used daily for long periods of time. There's no way you've worn your parts out.

I doubt an American style stick would fit honestly, unless you're just talking about a bat top for your JLF.

The buttons are easy enough to replace though, it's a layman job due to the design of the stick.

Thanks speedlolita. They're not worn out yet but i would still like spares for when they do go. SSFIV is my most played game ever.

Well in all the mods they replace the stick limiter (i'm not very technical) with an octagonal one(i think) one where you can feel which position you have the stick in. They say the Japanese style ones you dont get that kind of feedback. Hope that makes sense.

Could you tell me which button parts i need? I presume they are Sanwa from what you said in your message? What specific ones do i need? In one of the mod guides - it seemed to indicate that the buttons all come in one piece

EDIT ah i just found this, i think this is what i need http://sf4answers.com/questions/505/...-catz-te-stick

Hopefully will help other people too.

Yeah, although any 30mm buttons will do.
