I've just got a new notebook as my old one was nearing its final hours. It came with Windows 8, and I'm having trouble having it recognising the NAS I have in my local network.
Problem is, if the notebook is connected via wire, everything works perfectly. The moment I unplug the network cable and switch over wireless, Win8 refuses to reach the NAS as a network drive. The NAS itself can be reached via its web interface, Win8 shows the Twonky media server installed on the NAS, and it's even shown in the "other devices", though the NAS cannot be reached as a network drive or as a network locatio (folder).
The old notebook (Win7) doesn't have any problems wired or wireless. Does anyone have any idea on what could cause this problem?
