    Name that cable!

Right having a good sort through- found a load of cables.

Was hoping someone might be able to identify them- possibly to see if there's any worth to any!!

    Exhibit A:

Exhibit B: (think this a official nintendo rgb so might be worth something)

    Exhibit C:

    Exhibit D: (same as A?)

    Exhibit E:

    Exhibit F:

    Many thanks

Two of them (A and D) look to be Panny Q RGB cables. You had troubles with those though didn't you?

B is an official RGB cable, C and F is unofficial RGB (all PAL) and E is a unofficial composite/s-video cable.

Cheers mate, thought you'd be able to help!

Any of any value- worth putting in the sales forum?

I can't think why anyone would pay more for the official Nintendo RGB SCART (B) but on eBay who knows what extra people might be willing to pay. From that picture it looks to me very like the Dreamcast official RGB SCART ie. minimum RGB SCART pin connections which IIRC does not display if used with a non-RGB TV SCART socket.

If you can test those NTSC Panny Q cables working then those could be worth a little to you. Would be fine for any NTSC Cube if you wanted the audio separate too - from the looks of it.

Dunno, the RGB GC cable (official) I got for like ?12 on eBay but they can sell for like ?20-30 too. The Panny Q cables both have the digital DAC in the cable so you could easily sell those for ?20-30 each too, in my opinion.

The official RGB cable for the Cube has the best image - supposedly. Right resistance values etc. I recall Kernow making a huge thing over it and when compared with the unofficial cable I had I would have to agree. Not much in it though.
