PS3 Super Slim dead?

Hey guys.

I was using my PS3 as usual, when all of a sudden the power cut out and there was no light on the console.

After unplugging the PSU, the red light came on. when I turn the system on, the light goes green and then off and the system just dies.

Is my PS3 buggered? It's a 3 month old SS, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue, should it?

Are you sure it was just a power cut and not a power surge?

Try turning it on without the hard drive(if it's not the one with built-in storage), that's worth a shot.

I didn't want to take it out as I put in a 1tb drive and it has over 100 games downloaded onto it!

Left it 20 minutes and got the dyson and sucked everything out of the vents and it seems to work ok now. Backed up all my saves in case it happens again.

Rebuilding the database helped me once when my machine was playing up.
