Windows (8) OEM reinstall question

I'm looking to reinstall my copy of OEM Windows 8 that came with my new laptop. Reason being it's full of Dells crap and other trials that are making it slow from the off. While I'm at it I'm looking to replace the hard drive with a SSD drive.

As Windows OEM only allows installs on the same machine, will it still be valid on the laptop with a different hard drive?

I think you should be fine. Can be a little iffy with motherboards normally but even then it is usually a single call to Microsoft and they fix it. Device drive shouldn't flag anything though.

Now I just need a replacement Windows 8 CD to do the install as MS won't send me one because it was bought of ebay. Hopefully I can just download a torrent and use my genuine Windows 8 code.
