Which version do I go for?

I am right that jpn copy is in English on modded xboxs? My xbox is Japanese, will that mean it'll stay Jpn even with switch on?

If jpn isn't english then I'm left with usa or pal? Is there a difference?

All versions of Panzer Dragoon will change the language setting in accordance with the machine's EEPROM setting. So if you want to play the game is English you will have to use configMagic to change your machine's initial setting to NTSC Region 1 within the app menu.
