My Password was reset on PSN..

Just came back from work and tried to log onto my UK Acc - And just got a message that I couldn't log in as my Password was wrong. I've never given it out since signing up.. so was really quite thrown by it.. Jumped onto PSN and reset it with a new even longer 1..

Checked my Acc and found no dodgy transactions had taken place.. Anybody else had this happen lately..

Just happened to me - only the UK account, not my Japan or US one.

Weird thing is the password reset link isn't working either, says URL not found. Problems at PSN UK?

I had this happen to me with my Japanese account just today. No unusual activity either.

Still can't reset password. Via the PC it says "unable to complete your password change request at this time" and won't send me the email, via the PS3 I get the email but it takes me to a "page not found" message instead of a password reset page. Am I really the only one? Is it because I'm trying to reset it from a different country than the one my account is registered to?

I doubt it because I believe I've had to do it my UK account before. Have you tried logging into your Sony account on your PC?

Yeah, on the PC it doesn't even get to the stage of sending the email, I put in my DOB and the captcha thingy and it says "unable to complete your password change request, please try again later". Been a few days now, same thing happening.

PC method finally sent out the email with the URL, but sadly this email is e same as the others:

Page Not Found
Your request could not be completed. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later. (404)

Not bloody impressed. trying to find a contact email address for support was a nightmare also, the website is useless - I had to dig into the forums to get anywhere, and of course I'm unable to post to explain my trouble because I can't log in!

Hey D, have you tried seeing if there is a alternative regular number you can call on SayNoTo0870? Can you get to an 0844 with Skype?

Yeah mate, thanks! Bday was good, my wife spoiled me rotten.

I tried Skype but it wanted me to put money in my account first, which I have never done. I will do so as a last resort. I'll check out any alternative numbers too, thanks.

Well that number was bugger all use, I got through to a security guard who transferred me to the woman sat next to him, who told me she couldn't forward any calls and I had to call the 0844 number. She did offer to give me an email address, lol.
